Are international flights included? No, they are not. Chose the airline and rewards program that suits you best and arrive in your own time. We include airport transfers on our tours.
-
Do I need a minimum number of people in my group? No! Book as small or as large a group as you want.
-
What kind of transport do you use?I use a luxury 6 or 12 seater people carrier, with an English speaking driver and separate tour guide. The cars are meticulously clean and very comfortable.
-
What level of fitness do I have to have to enjoy being on the tours?I welcome people of all fitness levels on my tours, and will make arrangements where possible for those with mobility issues. However, please be aware that many of the ancient towns we will visit are car free, can have cobbled and/or uneven pavements, and street furniture that may restrict access. Many vineyards and wineries on the program are working farms, and as such, can also be difficult to negotiate. I would heartily recommend a sturdy pair of shoes or walking boots. Should you have any concerns, please contact me to discuss them.

Do I have to spit out the wines?Although it isn't our policy to make you spit, we at VitRen advocate for drinking responsibly. You should seriously consider utilising spitoons, eating food when it's offered, and drinking plenty of water, which we happily supply throughout the day. We visit a lot of vineyards and tasting rooms on our tours and I will not hesitate to remove anyone from the tour, at their expense and with no refund, if their overindulgence hampers the enjoyment and/or safety of others. Plus, no-one wants to have to sit on a bus, no matter how small and comfortable, with a hangover.

What travel documents will I need?A valid passport is required for all US citizens to travel internationally. Passports must be valid for six months after the return date of your journey, and have sufficient blank pages for the entry and exit stamps. It is your sole responsibility to make sure your passport is in order before you travel, and to have it readily available throughout your trip. If you are refused boarding or disembakment from any vessel, plane, or train for not having the appropriate travel documents, VitRen will not be liable for any refund, compensation, or credit of any kind, and you will be subject to any fine or costs we may incur as a result. A visa is not generally required for Croatia but again, it is your responsibility to make sure that that remains correct at the time of your departure.
